This site collects your details on behalf of the Turn Up Film Festival (TUFF), the student film festival and industry summit taking place at Regent Street Cinema, London, 12–17 January 2027.

The data controller is UOW Regent Street Cinema Ltd (company no. 09362885), whose registered office is at University of Westminster, 309 Regent Street, London W1B 2HW. The site is built and operated by Fieldwork Systems Ltd, which processes your data on the controller's instructions. Questions about your data, or requests to exercise your rights, can be sent to webmaster@regentstreetcinema.com, or by post to The Cinema Director, Regent Street Cinema, 309 Regent Street, London W1B 2HW.

When you register your interest we collect your name, your email address, and the role you select (student, graduate, industry or press). We do not collect any other personal data through this site, and we do not collect special-category data.

We use your details to contact you about the festival: tickets, programme, and opportunities to take part. We may also keep you informed after the 2027 festival about follow-up activity and future editions, and use your details for festival impact research. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by registering. You can withdraw it at any time (see “Your rights” below), and every email we send will include an unsubscribe link.

Registrations are stored in a database hosted by Supabase in the United Kingdom / EU region (London), so your data stays in-region. The site is served via Vercel, and Cloudflare provides content delivery and bot protection. These providers act as our processors and are bound by data-processing terms. We do not sell your data or share it for anyone else's marketing.

We keep your details for up to 6 years, so that we can contact you about the festival, its follow-up and future editions, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever is sooner, after which they are deleted.

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these, contact webmaster@regentstreetcinema.com.

If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand overall traffic, which does not identify you. The verification widget on the registration form (Cloudflare Turnstile) is used only to prevent spam and automated abuse.
